Situation

Farmer looking for subsidy and agriculture equipments related subsidy were using the manual procedures from form filling to sanc- tioning process, similarly manufacturers were also getting themselves registered and making registration fee payments physically. There is no real time decision support system and data available for analysis.

Subsidy amount was paid after files move- ment from multiple tables and at the end by Cheque/ DD, which in turn to be deposited in the bank physically. There Is no mecha- nism of Farmers identify verification.


Challenges

  • Physical registration forms of farmers, suppliers, manufacturers. Multiple visits of Farmers to various office for sanction, subsidy, stock availability, variety of equipment.
  • Mode of payment was physical via Demand draft. And reconciliation of payments was manual.
  • Release of subsidy via Cheque / DD.
  • Information on implement / equipments were not readily available.
  • Student didn't had services in online mode, all the forms were submitted offline, for any clarification students had to directly approach to University office located at Bhopal.
  • No centralized database of Dealer, Farmers and Manufacturers.

Solution

CRISP build a portal "E-Krishi Anudan" to de- liver all the G2C, G2B, G2G services on online mode. This portal was implemented in the year 2017-18 and is successfully running till now. Developed the complete paper less and cash less process. Implemented Lottery system for allotment of equipments to regis- tered farmers. Aadhar based verification of farmers. Amount transfer to Directly to ben- eficiary bank account.

A dedicated helpdesk and call centre is also established by CRISP for complete opera- tional support to all the stake holders of the system.
